Description
Private Jaeger and Sergeant Dein began walking around the Training Corps quarters; they had been through every bunk, under every bed and pillow, upon every door or pathway or storage rooms but the missing cadet was no where to be found. It was at this point, Eren showed his stumped thoughts - all in his shifty gazes, his flailing arms, his sweat beading down his forehead and -
"I don't think we'll be able to find him, Sergeant," he voiced finally. His words were released between his caged teeth, trying to avoid showing his anger and frustration; he wanted very much to help her and he wanted to do it successfully, to the best of his abilities. He didn't want to disappoint her like this.
Sergeant Dein was calm; her composure had a slightly discomforting look about them, but she was still very patient. "It's alright, Eren," she said gently as she patted his back (to which the boy responded with an eager but demanding stare much like that of a pet), "We'll be fine. We'll find that kid and get him back to Sergeant Weinhoft."
"This... Sergeant Wienhoft... Do you know her, Miss Dein?"
"Well, I think we'd bumped into each other a couple of times in the past. She's the one who created CRATIS."
"CRATIS? What is that?"
"It's Criminal Rehabilitation and Animal Training Institute Squad," said another voice; it was rather petite person, as small and meek as Sergent Dein, but perhaps more fearsome. Eren and his superior beside him both saluted, but they eased as the person before him nodded with acknowledgement. Her eyes were dire with sensitivity and rage, boring into Eren's wild emerald orbs as he gulped at her. She wore this dark brown over coat with the Garrison emblem on her shoulders and back; a plain white shirt was seen under it with its collars opened and left high over her neck, just below her chin and the usual belts, harness and sash over her overalls. Her posture was as severe as she was; as straight as a plank stance framed her whole body as she stood right before them. "Dein, I see you've searched the premises?"
"Yes, Sergeant Wienhoft, we've looked through everywhere but your missing trainee is no where to be seen," said Agnes.
The officer before her took in a deep breath; "Geez, that kid is a handful!" she growled as she clenched her fists, "Did you check those hiding places - you know, where us trainees would cower when - "
"Oh, yes. It's why I even bring my trainee with me. He knows the whereabouts of newfound hiding places, but even so, nothing."
"God, it's fine. I'll take care of this. Thanks anyway."
With that, Eren and Sergeant Dein shifted into salute and watched as the person walked off. Agnes quickly exhaled.
"Wow," she mumbled sheepishly as sweats dropped down from her brow, "She's more fierce and scary than the last time I saw her!"
"That was Sergeant Wienhoft, huh?" Eren gulped silently; he still remembered the feeling when the woman stared him down, even if he was a wee bit taller than she.
"Oh, yeah. That's her, alright! The woman behind CRATIS."
"She's the Commander of CRATIS?"
"Yes, and a very commendable yet horrifying person. She's much worst than Erwin when it comes to brutal commands. But she has her good traits."
"D-Do you k-know her well enough, ma'am?"
"Eren, don't - "
"Ah, sorry!" the boy rubbed the back of his neck as he blushed, "I forgot, Miss Dein."
She gave him a rather blank, unsatisfied stare.
"I mean, Nessie!! So, um, do you know her well enough?"
"Enough to know that she once had a crush on Levi? I guess so."
"Eh!? She has a - "
"Had... I think."
Eren gulped again and took up her hands; "But I thought that you and Corporal Levi are - "
"What are you talking about?" she pulled her hands away and began blushing herself, "I told you! Levi and I are just friends!"
"A-Are you sure? When you convinced Petra to date him and he did date her, you were rather broken hearted! You even took Bertl out just to forget about it all and - "
"DID HE TELL YOU THAT!?"
"Eh, not like that... I-It's - "
A loud thud suddenly startled them; they looked at each other first before quieting down - ears pricked to every mild and audible tune or melody that was in range of their hearing. Then another thud resounded. They were sure that it came from above them, up in the ceiling.
"It's the roof!" Agnes deduced. "The kid must've been hiding there!"
"We have to get Sergeant Wienhoft!"
"No time! We'll deal with him ourselves!"
As they ran into the hallway, following the thuds, they got into one of the storage rooms and got themselves a ladder; since Eren was taller, he was tasked with going up on it and taking a peek into the ceiling. But as he reached up, he giggled as he remembered something.
"What is it?" she asked him curiously.
"I just remembered something rather funny," he chuckled as he stared her down, catching a fiery gaze of slight impatience, "When you told me that Sergeant Wienhoft HAD a crush on the Corporal, your tone was darker, your cheeks were red and your fists were clenching."
"So?" this time, her brows furrowed and a pout formed on her lips.
"You're jealous, aren't you?"
"A-Am not. Why would I be jealous of Wienhoft?"
"N-no, I-I meant of the Corporal."
Agnes was taken aback by that; she raised her foot and gently kicked on the ladder's edge enough to rock it, just to tease him. "Just shut up and get to work!"

LMFAO! Oh my gosh. No one has ever done this with an OC of mine before, and she isn't even fully DEVELOPED!!!! I'm so happy, you have no idea. I was looking forward to this all weekend!!! I never expected you to write such an awesome story too!

Man, and I LOVE the way you drew her. It's really close to what I had in mind. Actually I think she's prettier than what my brain had originally come up with. Then again, I tend to make people angry and grumpy. XDDDDDD
